Recommendations For Artwork Transfers
Adobe Illustrator - Save as .EPS or .AI (Convert text to outlines to avoid font incompatibility)
Adobe Photoshop - Save as .EPS
AutoCAD - Save as .DWG. Files can also be saved as .DXF, but this format is not always reliable. Also include any special .SHX font files you may be using
Macromedia Freehand - Save to any format
QuarkXPress - Saving page as an .EPS graphic will not create font outlines, therefore fonts need to be on our system to support artwork. You must also include any pictures that you may be using in the art work and save as a QuarkXpress file.
Note: Artwork in these formats or directly compatible with these programs would be best.
Many applications can save or export to these formats. Please consult manuals or vendor for specific instructions. All artwork is processed using Apple computers.
We are able to convert most files from PC to MAC if needed.
Special Notes:
Whenever possible, create font outlines to avoid font incompatibility. As an alternative, you can include specific fonts with your file (MAC format). Please feel free to ask if a font being specified is available on our system.
Color Separations: "Process" color separations and "Solid" color separations are specific to the type of job we are doing. Please contact us to see which might be needed for your order so that we can advise of any specific requirements.
Make sure that no lower than 30% halftone is used on your artwork.
